None of us can predict our community's future challenges or opportunities. However, because we care about the vitality of Manistee County's future today and beyond our lifetimes, we must ensure resources for our community's advancement and success. Gifts to the Limitless Fund help the Foundation be strategic in supporting the needs of today and be prepared to meet the unknown needs of the future.
Limitless Fund Challenge Resulted in $1.4M Endowment and Greater Impact
The Manistee County Community Foundation (MCCF) met and surpassed a $500,000 challenge made by an anonymous donor in 2016 to amplify the impact of the Foundation. In total $716,513 was raised in cash gifts and three-year pledges eligible to be matched 1:1 resulting in $1,433,026 to be contributed to the Limitless Fund by the end of 2018.
Qualifying gifts and pledges to the Limitless Fund along with donor’s match will increase the foundation’s unrestricted assets more than five-fold and generate additional monies available for grants. Read the press release here.
