Dennis Zupin Onekama Schools Education Foundation Fund

This fund was established in memory of Dennis Zupin who passed away on
September 4, 2014, following a courageous battle with cancer. Dennis was very active in Onekama Consolidated
Schools where he ran the time clock for sporting events for many years, was an
athletic booster and served on the school board. Dennis was also active in the community,
serving on the Onekama Township Cemetery Board, the Onekama Lions Club, Knights
of Columbus in Manistee, and volunteering with Boy Scouts for many years. In 2010, Dennis was awarded Manistee Citizen
of the Year for his efforts in the Onekama Community.
To continue his legacy and to encourage others to become involved in school and community service, Dennis Zupin and his family established the Dennis Zupin Onekama Schools Education Foundation Fund to provide support for programs and students at Onekama Consolidated Schools.
